Mount Holyoke College celebrated the life and legacy of alum Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey ’59, the first woman to chair the powerful House Appropriations Committee.

Jaime Grillo and Tayler Kreutter have been promoted to associate vice president roles at ������ý College.

The College has announced the Mount Holyoke Commitment: U.S. students with total family income up to $150,000 pay no tuition.

“When I got my acceptance letter from Mount Holyoke, it felt like I was being introduced to a community that genuinely wanted me to be part of it,” said Mount Holyoke College senior Emmanuella Umoye ’25.

Mount Holyoke College senior Grace Jaeeun Lee ’25 said, “Mount Holyoke has a very collaborative community, a very accepting environment, which helped with [my] confidence. Even if I bring just a little to the table, I know my peers will have my back.”

The Princeton Review has released its “Best 390 Colleges” for 2025. The list, which is based on college students’ ratings of their schools, ranks Mount Holyoke College highly for academics, extracurricular activities, the campus and more.

“I found a program that seemed like it was catered for me. It was unbelievable. The fact that it was for experienced K–8 math teachers was very unique. Then when I got here, it was even more eye-opening.”

“I cannot imagine what my life could have been like without ������ý,” she said. “Be it academics, internships, extracurricular activities, community, friendships and interests, Mount Holyoke beautifully helped me tie a lot of these things together and become a better and more confident person.”

“I've only spent two years on the Mount Holyoke campus. But looking back, it's been a really incredible experience because some of the opportunities that came from the challenges I faced, I did not anticipate one bit.”
