On May 25, 2025, Mount Holyoke College celebrated its one hundred eighty-eighth Commencement, marking milestone achievements for the class of 2025. Maura T. Healey, governor of Massachusetts, was the graduation speaker.

Massachusetts Governor Maura T. Healey received an honorary doctorate and spoke to graduates about the College’s legacy and the opportunities of this moment.

President Danielle R. Holley addressed the class of 2025 at ������ý’s one hundred eighty-eighth Commencement and expressed pride in graduates’ achievements while reflecting on the College’s mission and values.

More than 175 students gathered in Chapin Auditorium with their families and friends for the twenty-first annual Stoling Ceremony for Mount Holyoke College’s graduating students of color and their mentors.

Mount Holyoke College students gathered to be honored by the community for their leadership and service to others.

Mount Holyoke College graduate student Naomi Brown ’21/ MAT ’25 discusses her growth as a teacher and a person during her time in the master’s program for teacher leadership.

Mount Holyoke College senior Rachel Katzenberg ’25 said, “At ������ý, I 100% found a good community … a large community that wants to help me and see me succeed.”

Viviana Guerra ’25 reflects on following her passions. “One thing I have loved about ������ý is that I have had the opportunity to explore whatever I wanted. I never felt like I was stuck in a box.”

“When I got my acceptance letter from Mount Holyoke, it felt like I was being introduced to a community that genuinely wanted me to be part of it,” said Mount Holyoke College senior Emmanuella Umoye ’25.

Mount Holyoke College senior Hailee Pitschke ’25 said, “I’m really grateful that ������ý offered opportunities to explore niche topics in fields I am interested in. It helped nail down key academic interests.”
