At ��ý, there are no boundaries between the sciences, arts and humanities. In fact, you’ll be equipped and encouraged to integrate your STEM skills into all of your other courses. And in turn, you’ll apply your understanding of literature, global perspectives, ethics, history and more to the sciences.

Since educator and chemist Mary Lyon founded our school in 1837, we have been leading the movement to advance gender diversity in STEM fields. Computer Science Peer Mentors at ��ý College

Peer mentorship

PLUMS (Peer-Led Undergraduate Mentoring System) is a set of peer-led supplementary workshops for gateway courses in the sciences. Workshops provide a place to actively and collaboratively engage with science and mathematics in a structured, supportive environment. You’ll solve advanced problems with ingenious solutions that prove the power of collaboration.

Pre-health advising

Interested in pursuing a clinical profession such as nursing, dentistry, veterinary or human medicine? Pre-health advising is available as soon as you are admitted to Mount Holyoke and continues through to when matriculate at a professional school. Here you will develop a strong foundation in the sciences and can also choose to take nonscience courses that complement your health-profession interests.
